Raphael Katz is an experienced litigator and regularly appears in both state and federal court.
In his practice, he has successfully handled all phases of complex litigation and whistleblower litigation. He also handles employment litigation, real estate litigation, and professional liability.
Prior to entering private practice, Raphael completed a clerkship for the Honorable Herman Cahn in the Commercial Division of the New York Supreme Court. While in law school, he completed an externship for the United States Department of Labor, Office of the Solicitor.
Raphael was selected as a Rising Star Super Lawyer for the New York Metro Region for 2013, 2014, and 2015.
Raphael was a guest lecturer at the Collegium for Lifelong Learning at Westchester Community College on "The Ethics of Whistleblowing". He was a panelist at the 2013 Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund conference. In June 2015, Raphael spoke about Medicare and Medicaid fraud to the Association of Professional Health Advocates. He has also made numerous television and radio appearances.
Raphael is admitted to practice in New York, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York.
Raphael has a B.A. from Brown University and a J.D., with honors, from Emory University School of Law.
